Colleges and Universities - our safeguarding support has just got better
In response to customer feedback, we have now doubled the high-quality, safeguarding content included in our training service designed specifically for Colleges and Universities.
Staff and students can now benefit ten essential Safeguarding and Duty of Care training courses, without increasing the price.
The cost of EduCare for Education: Colleges and Universities will continue to start at just £3.50 per person - which works out as little as 35p per course!
What's been added?
The additional topics are intended to expand awareness and provide essential support to all staff, regardless of their role. They could be valuable topics for students, apprentices and work-based learners too. The course content will help keep them safe and provide essential knowledge to protect those around them.
The existing content covered a diverse range of topics:
- Child Protection
- Safeguarding Young People
- The Prevent Duty
- Health and Safety in Education
- Equality and Diversity
The five additional courses cover essential Duty of Care content on:
- First Aid Essentials
- Female Genital Mutilation Awareness
- Data Protection
- Working with Display Screen Equipment
- Safer Recruitment in Education
All these new courses combined make up an additional 11 hours for CPD, which means the entire package now equates to 24 hours CPD.
Cost-efficient
Our best-selling safeguarding service offers the most cost-efficient way to ensure you have met all your duty of care obligations for both your staff and your students.
Whilst you are obliged to commit to a set level of training to remain compliant, we aim to provide additional content that goes over and above into other key safeguarding and duty of care areas such as Safer Recruitment and First Aid, as well as key induction training topics such as Data Protection and Health & Safety.
Easy to use online learning service
High-quality training courses are just part of the EduCare service. You will also have full access to a robust reporting suite. Our easy-to-use system enables administrators to manage the learner experience and provide evidence of learning to inspectors. Your learners can also download personalised certificates.
And as you would expect, our Customer Services team are on hand to offer all users additional support and answer any queries. They will also proactively contact customers to ensure they are getting the best return on their investment with us.

“EduCare have been the primary provider of online Child Protection training for Solihull College and University Centre staff since October 2014.
Initially, senior colleagues’ delivered this training in person but, acknowledging the ever-evolving content, and in view of the significant time commitment (our payroll is in excess of 900 staff) a more resource efficient solution was sought.
