Dementia Action Week 21-27 May 2018
The Alzheimer's Society is asking people to do something for Dementia Action Week. They want people to choose an action and stand united with people affected by Dementia.
One of the actions the Alzheimer's Society have listed on their website is for people to take is to "Ask questions and learn about Dementia".

Documentation on the Skills for Care website states that to meet Standard 9 learners must:

- 9.3 Understand the adjustments which may be necessary
in care delivery relating to an individual who may have a mental health condition, dementia or learning disability - 9.4 Understand the importance of early detection of mental health conditions, dementia
and learning disabilities - 9.5 Understand legal frameworks, policy and guidelines relating to mental health conditions, dementia and learning disabilities
