#GarethSouthgateWould pay for drinks at Club Tropicana even though they're free as he wouldn't want to see the owners out of pocket.
#GarethSouthgateWould put a glass over a spider indoors and ensure that the postcard he slides under the glass has a lovely pastoral scene on it so not as to cause the spider any undue stress or anxiety.
Importance of player welfare
These tweets show that is the England Manager's style of looking after players from all teams, and not just England's performance on the pitch that has captured the hearts and minds of the nation.
When Danny Rose spoke so openly to the press about his experience with dealing with depression, he thanked the England Manager, and claimed that playing for England had been 'his salvation'.

When the England team return home it will be a very warm welcome. Despite the disappointment of exiting at semi-final stage, the feeling in the country and the support for the young team is incredibly positive.
