Open Consultation: Keeping children safe in education (KCSIE)
The Department
They are consulting on a wide variety of proposed changes to the statutory guidance which will reflect the changes made to the Working Together to Safeguard Children statutory guidance.
They are also seeking views on non-statutory advice covering sexual violence and sexual harassment between children.

Keeping children safe in education was last updated in September 2016, EduCare immediately updated all related online courses to ensure content reflected the latest guidance.
Dawn Jotham, our Pastoral Care Expert, is Product Development Lead for our portfolio of safeguarding and duty of care courses for schools and will be monitoring the results of the consultation to ensure all EduCare content is up-to-date.
Customers are automatically provided with new courses as soon as they are available.
Peer-on-peer abuse
EduCare is currently developing a new course on peer-on-peer abuse and will look closely at the non-statutory guidance on sexual harassment between children when it is published.
