EduCare Advent Care-ndar – Day twenty two

There are 92 football clubs in the Premier League and English Football League, all of whom play a game on Boxing Day. Following a year of continuing allegations and negative press, what should football clubs and other sporting organisations be doing to keep sport safe?

Earlier this year, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson published a report that has been well received by many key organisations in sport. As well as recommendations to government, the majority of changes recommended throughout the report focused on improvements and adjustments that need to happen within NGBs.

On day 22 of our Advent Care-ndar we are sharing a resource that looks at the recommendations made in the Duty of Care in Sport report and uses best practice guidance from other industries to examine how these changes can be achieved.
